Several softball players from OABCIG and Ridge View earned All Western Valley Conference recognition. OABCIG had two players earn conference recognition while seven Ridge View players earned all-conference honors. OABCIG’s Anna Winterrowd earned first team all-conference. OABCIG lost to Panorama in a class 2A district baseball tournament semifinal contest July 13. The loss brought the curtain down on the Falcons’ 2021 season. The Falcons finish the year at 14-10 and had a conference mark of 11-5. Coach Dan Dotzler noted he was proud of his ball club this season, especially the senior members of the team....

Ridge View’s 2021 baseball season came to an end July 13 when the Raptors lost to Pocahontas Area 5-3 in the district tournament semifinal in Pocahontas. OABCIG’s softball season came to an end July 6 via a 12-0 three-inning loss to Cherokee in the first round of regional tournament play. The Falcons finished the year with a 2-24 record.
