Falcons run win streak to four games

OABCIG, ranked 10th in the state in class 2A, topped class 3A Storm Lake 32-22 in the final tune-up for district play Friday in Ida Grove. The Falcons prevailed after falling behind twice during the game including once midway through the fourth quarter.

Storm Lake took a 6-0 lead on a 13-yard run at 4:42 of the second quarter. The try for two points was no good.

The Falcons scored the next two touchdowns to go up 14-6. The scores came on a three-yard pass from Kaden Ladwig to Jake Nieman at 2:11 of the first quarter and an 18-yard pass from Ladwig to Cooper DeJean at 9:50 of the second quarter. William Grote converted on both PAT kicks.
