Kelsey Bolte, a 2007 graduate of BC-IG High School, will be inducted into the Iowa Girls' High School Athletic Union Hall of Fame during the 2013 state basketball tournament in February.
Bolte, the daughter of Owen and Carol Bolte of Ida Grove, earned a spot in the Hall of Fame based on her outstanding high school and college basketball career.
Bolte was a force in Iowa high school girls' basketball for four seasons, leading BC-IG to three Class 2A state tourney appearances, including runner-up finishes in her junior and senior seasons. She made the all-tournament team in 2006 and 2007.
During her high school career BC-IG won 92 games and won four consecutive Maple Valley Conference championships.
Bolte finished as the ninth-leading career scorer in five-player history with 2,089 points. She became just the 11th Iowa prep to collect at least 2,000 points in the five-player game.
During four years in high school Bolte also grabbed 1,016 career rebounds, handed out 448 assists, made 516 steals and blocked 327 shots.
Bolte was one of 20 senior girl basketball players nationwide to participate in the 2007 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) High School All-America Game.
