A northwestern Iowa business is celebrating is 50th Anniversary with special events.
North Star Community Credit Union emerged from origins in Cherokee as the Cherokee County Credit Union. “And we are planning celebrations in all of our branches,” said Lorna Kohn, director of Business Development and Marketing.
The origins were of the business were fairly simple.
“We started in the basement of a home in Cherokee,” said Kohn.
