Battle Creek Ambulance should be up July 1

Things should up and running by the end of the month for the Battle Creek Ambulance Service. During the June 14 meeting of the Battle Creek City Council, members heard an update on ambulance service in the city.

Under Ambulance Service Director Pat Stevens, preparation work has been underway.

Stevens will have a crew of 14 members who have been busy getting ready, council members heard.

Street closures are coming, both for Independence Day celebrations and for RAGBRAI.
