Crawford Creek will benefit from a major land acquisition designed to help to ensure the future vitality of the area. Property adjoining the Crawford Creek Recreation Area has been acquired.
“Recently, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation purchased 105 acres of land adjacent to Crawford Creek Recreation Area,” said Zachary Hall, the director of the Ida County Conservation Board.
Hall cited the work of seven area agencies in working together.
