CORRECTIONVILLE - Cindy (Jensen) Davis, age 66, of Correctionville, Iowa, was called to join her heavenly family on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, with family by her side at her residence of Correctionville, Iowa.
DENISON - Vivian "Ione" Beaman was born May 25, 1920 to the late Frank and Edith (Fletcher) Nicholson in Monona County near Moorhead, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in the Dunlap Methodist Church in Dunlap, Iowa. She attended Kellogg Country School in Dunlap from Kindergarten to First Grade and then from Second Grade until Eighth Grade she attended school in Harrison County. Ione graduated Dunlap High School with the Class of 1938.
ODEBOLT - It is with great sadness that we say goodbye, for now, to our father, grandfather and great grandfather, Douglas Stenoien. He was the fourth child born to Ole and Bura Stenoien in Hanks, North Dakota. Although Doug was born into poverty, he chose not to allow this to be his destiny. By the grace of God and through a work ethic like no other, he built a life that far exceeded the economic destitution of his childhood.
NORTH JUDSON, IN - Valerie Kay “KK” Simpson, age 57 of Sac City, IA, passed away on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at MercyOne Siouxland Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.
HOLSTEIN - Robert Clarence Watters did not go gentle into the good night. After being diagnosed with advanced cancer, he left on his own terms and on his own time schedule, just the way he lived his life. He died on the morning of Oct. 21, 2021, twenty-two days after his beloved wife Phyllis.
MAPLETON - Robert E. “Bob” Jochims, Sr., age 80, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at the Horn Memorial Hospital of Ida Grove, Iowa.
