BATTLE CREEK - Mary J. Jensen, age 89, of Battle Creek, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at the Willow Dale Wellness Village of Battle Creek, Iowa.
IDA GROVE - La Wayne Roger Wessel, the son of Lloyd and Lorraine (Schultz) Wessel, was born on September 8, 1951. He grew up in the Denison and Ida Grove, Iowa areas where he graduated from Ida Grove High School with the class of 1970.
OMAHA, NE - Judith “Judy” Ann Lohmeier, age 93, of Omaha, Nebraska (formerly of Ida Grove, Iowa) passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at the Esprit Whispering Ridge of Omaha, NE.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Father William A. McCarthy will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Ida Grove, Iowa.
IDA GROVE - Greta Mae Tollas, 90, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA. Memorial services were held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Urbandale, Iowa. Private inurnment will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Ida Grove, IA at a later date.
