A big fourth inning spelled the difference between victory and defeat for the Ridge View softball squad against Spirit Lake. The Raptors played host to the Indians on Tuesday in Galva, and Spirit Lake jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first inning.
Only one inning of last week’s baseball matchup between OABCIG and Akron-Westfield produced any scoring. The Westerners plated three runs in the fourth inning, and that proved to be the difference in their 3-0 shutout of OABCIG last Monday in Ida Grove.
