Looming on the Horizon

  “Trouble’s brewing,” is one of those great lines that, unfortunately, for any one under a certain age, or fortunate enough to have grown up on old movies, I doubt would call to mind for the kids what it does for us as adults.
  The Marshall, looking over at the distance, perhaps a cloud of dust visible from approaching horses, could expect horse rustlers, outlaws, or something along those lines.
  Or, as I write this, the prospect of a blizzard.
