OABCIG superintendent wants legislative action

A difficult time for Iowa schools has one area superintendent hoping people reach out to their legislators.

Requirements left and right, COVID emergency protocols and a tight hiring situation for staff and substitutes is not making this an easy time for schools.

“If there ever was a year to give school districts five percent supplemental aid this was the year to do it,” said Superintendent Matt Alexander.

The Consumer Price Index is soaring at present as inflation not seen since the 1970s grips the country.
