Wiebers leaving a solid foundation with G-H and S-C

A long-time educator is looking to head off into the sunset.

Jon R. Wiebers, the superintendent for Galva-Holstein Community Schools and Schaller-Crestland Community Schools, is retiring.

Just what surprises will meet him in that journey are to be determined.

“At this time I have no plans for my retirement,” said Wiebers.

When Wiebers departs, it will be after a long career with teaching.
