People came in droves to the Fish Fry put on by the Odebolt Firefighters. There was a steady stream of people from 5-7:30 p.m. on March 29. You had your choice of fish or chicken along with a side of beans and potatoes. There was also coleslaw and plenty of desserts to choose from. Greg Neville presented the 2023 Firefighter of the year award to Dalton Leinbough.
Darron Uhl of Battle Creek has been named Commercial Cattleman of the year by the North American Limousin Foundation. He received the award on Jan. 1 in Oklahoma City during the National Cattlemen’s Congress.
Dunkin’ Donuts is coming to the Travel Center on Highway 20 in Holstein. They will be open soon sometime in April. They are still in the remodeling process. It was a corporate decision to bring Dunkin’ Donuts here.
