A Memorial Mass was held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Father Richard D. Ball officiated. A visitation was be held prior to the service from 9-10 a.m., on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Military Rites will be conducted at the church by the McNamara-Moore Post No. 61 of the American Legion of Ida Grove, Iowa.

Freese was born on March 15, 1941, to parents Everett and Betty (Nagel) Hutchinson in Sac City, Iowa. She graduated from Sac City high school in 1959.
