A Graveside Service was at 11 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2022, at the Nishnabotna Cemetery of Manilla, Iowa. Chaplin Robyn Plocher officiated. A visitation was held from 2-4 p.m., on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the Christensen – Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa.
ARTHUR - Audrey Marie (Rasmussen) Schramm, 90, of Arthur, Iowa, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the Morningside Care Center of Ida Grove, Iowa. Audrey had back surgery and never fully recovered.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held by the family.
HOLSTEIN - Karen A. Jensen, age 78, of Holstein, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society of Holstein. A visitation was held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Holstein. Burial will be held at a later date. The Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Holstein is in charge of the arrangements.
PRINCETON, ILLINOIS - Lillian Margaret Kjar Johnson, 83, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022. She was born Sept. 26, 1938 in Battle Creek, Iowa to Bertha and Erik Kjar. She graduated from Battle Creek High School in 1956.
ARTHUR - Merle Dean Schramm, 91, of Arthur, Iowa, passed away on March 28, 2022 after a battle with COVID.
