Everyone loves a small town, their quiet and quaint qualities is what makes them so charming. Each town has a different way to celebrate their little piece of Iowa, especially Odebolt.
Every year, Moorehead Park is host to a race that is in conjunction with the Trail of the Dragon 50km/50km races. The race starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. The race in total is 26.2 miles, but there are different lengths you are able to register for, however there is a registration cap of 300 people. You can register to only run 2/3 of the marathon, which is 17.6 miles, or 1/3 of the marathon which is 8.8 miles.
Every year around Memorial day, the Fourth of July, and Veterans day, Cobb Memorial Park gets filled with American Flags. All around the pond is surrounded by the red, white, and blue of American Flags.
